Parker Mortiz

Parker Moritz played linebacker and fullback at Garner-Hayfield-Ventura from 2021 to 2024, earning All-District Honorable Mention honors during the 2023–2024 season. His junior year included 43 solo tackles, 20.5 assisted tackles, and 12 tackles for loss, along with three sacks and a fumble recovery. As a senior in 2024, he totaled 59 tackles, including 41 solo stops, 16.5 tackles for loss, and 1.0 sack. He also contributed on special teams with multiple returns and added 175 rushing yards on 48 carries during his career.

Moritz finished his career with 38.5 tackles for loss, which ranks as the most in program history for a career, and his 16.5 tackles for loss in 2024 rank second all-time for a single season. He is listed in the program’s record book for both career and single-season tackles for loss. A four-sport athlete, he also competed in wrestling, track, and baseball. He now plays linebacker and long snapper at Waldorf University and is also involved in coaching as an assistant wrestling coach at Clarion-Goldfield-Dows High School.
