Carson Kern
Assistant Varsity Coach
Carson Kern will be entering his first season on the varsity staff and 4th season coaching football. A 2022 graduate of Clear Lake High School, he was a two-time letter winner for the Lions, playing defensive end and offensive tackle. He later graduated from University of Northern Iowa in 2025.
Kern began his coaching career in 2023 with the Dike-New Hartford Wolverines junior high football program, where he spent two seasons. He spent the 2025 season on the GHV Cardinals junior high staff, serving as the 7th grade offensive play caller.
Kern has also assisted with both the High School Gridiron Showcase and the College Gridiron Showcase, working with athletes to improve their skills and understanding of the game, working with high school and collegiate athletes.
